Youth Camp News Fall 2017
November 14, 2017
We are excited about how the 2017 season went with near record attendance after a slow start while taking July 4th week off. Our Camp Director, Captain Tony Green refined our programs and recruited a great assistant Camp Director, Andrew Helm.
This team added new visions. Included in the 2018 vision is a Capstone program for teens who have completed our Small Boat program aboard our WindRider 17's and Basic Keelboat aboard our Flying Scot sailboats. Pictured below is one of our 34 to 40.5 boats which will primarily support Big Boat Sailing in the Apostle Islands National Lake Shore! This is the best of Lake Superior!
Memories Maid our sister company's Hunter 40.5 sailing with spinnaker. Bayfield, Wisconsin, our own slice of New England, is located in the Apostle Islands National Lake Shore. Bayfield is in the background.
Exciting Spinnakers on Flying Scots
These are the same boats we introduced a couple of years ago so that older teens would have an exciting boat for Teen Keelboat. These are the same boats that are used in the adult Basic Keelboat Program!
